Scaling Agroecology for

Transformative

Change

C-GEM is supporting changemakers for long-term and sustainable behavior shifts by leveraging innovative funding from ecosystem markets.

We are in an ongoing climate crises which will affect smallholder farmers the most.

The transition from conventional to Natural Farming can take up to 8 years.

Extreme events like droughts, excess rainfalls, heat wave can destabilize the transition.

Transition to Natural Farming will require additional financial support for the farmers to incentivize them to take up the practices and sustain them.

Transitions to natural farming are tough and take time.
